For Beekeepers

Your knowledge belongs in the field record.

You know your colonies and the place around them. BeeNova brings beekeepers, land owners, field observation, and careful documentation together to understand what is changing over time. We work with local partners to shape participation around the realities of each community.

Who this is for

Practicing beekeepers, beekeeper associations, producer groups, land owners, local field leaders, and beginners interested in benefitting from documenting what they observe and strengthening stewardship in their area.

How we work together

01

Talk

We start with a conversation about the place, the people, and what you are observing.

02

Agree

Together we agree on the questions, the scope of participation, and how records will be used.

03

Observe

You observe and document what you see — colony condition, forage, seasonal shifts, and changes over time.

04

Review

We review what we learn together and decide what to do next.

We talk about the place, agree on the questions and participation, observe and document, and review what we learn. The details, consent, and use of records are established within each local program.

What your experience contributes

Your observations may include colony condition, forage and flowering, seasonal shifts, water and land conditions, management decisions, and changes noticed over time. Together, these observations can help build a more useful record of the place.

Learning and leadership

The Keepers offers practical beekeeping and stewardship learning for people beginning their journey and experienced beekeepers continuing to learn or teach. Learning and BeeNova Verified are separate pathways.

Beyond the field record

ALVEA creates place-based experiences that connect people with regenerative landscapes, producers, and their products. Where a local program includes product development, ALVEA can also help producers build product stories and pathways to market. Its educational offerings include honey sommelier and hive health certifications.

BeeNova Verified mark

You care for the bees. We help turn your work into trusted evidence, market opportunity, and lasting value.

BeeNova works with beekeepers and partners to document hive health, responsible practices, product origins, and local impact. Through ongoing observation, data collection, and verification, we make the story behind your honey credible and visible.

Education & certification

Members gain access to specialized education, practical skills training, and certification opportunities to strengthen their knowledge and grow their capabilities.

Market access & premium pricing

We help producers bring products to market, connect with buyers, and support premium pricing through verified provenance, quality, and impact.

Collective knowledge

Each participating site contributes to a growing body of shared data — intended over time to become a valuable asset informing better decisions and creating new opportunities for producers, partners, and communities.

Build skills. Reach markets. Grow shared value.
