About BeeNova Global
Built Around What the Field Actually Shows
We are a biological and ecological intelligence organization. Our work is grounded in careful observation, honest documentation, and long-term relationships with the communities and places where we operate.
Purpose
Why BeeNova Exists
The health of human systems depends on the health of living systems. BeeNova exists to make that relationship legible — building a clear, honest record of what is happening at the places where we work, and helping partners understand what it means.
How We Work
Observation first. Everything else follows.
- We work at specific sites with specific communities. Our knowledge is rooted in place, not abstracted from it.
- We return to the same sites over time. Patterns only become visible through repeated, careful observation.
- We record what we see and what we do not know. Uncertainty is part of the record, not something to be smoothed over.
- Local knowledge and local relationships are not supplementary — they are central to what we are able to learn and sustain.
Field Partners
The people who know the place
BeeNova's work depends on the people who return to these places every day. Beekeepers and local stewards notice conditions, changes, and practical constraints that outside observers may miss. We build the field record with them and recognize their knowledge as part of the work.

Where We Work
Global field sites expanding.
Washington
A small island community in the Salish Sea, where BeeNova works with local landholders and beekeepers on hive observation and site documentation.
Uganda
Our Uganda pilot involves 25 women beekeepers managing 50 actively monitored hives, with longitudinal field data now in record.
Greece
Observation work in a context shaped by traditional apiculture, diverse flora, and the pressures facing pollinator populations across the Mediterranean.
